Freedom Pioneers of Africa

The Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom in sub-Saharan Africa appointed EISH to produce the cross-regional radio simulcast project Freedom Pioneers of Africa. In twelve episodes, local change-makers presented their projects and discussed topics such as innovation, digitalisation and entrepreneurship. The programme was broadcast on community radio stations in South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Tanzania, and Malawi.

Second Chance Matric

EISH partnered with the Department of Basic Education and Mashabela Creatives to provide radio revision lessons for the Second Chance Matric support programme.The aim of the programme is to provide support to learners who have not met the requirements of the National Senior Certificate (NSC).

Designed to assist learners writing their matric supplementary exams, the revision lessons cover 11 core subjects and are broadcast on community radio stations during the period leading up to the matric exam rewrites.These audio resources can also be accessed on the Department of Basic Education’s website.
